Static work is on the increase with new customers. A CSCS card and SIA badge are required for any new employees. Also, if existing employees wish to take on more work on static sites please see the training page for details on how to apply for a cscs card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme).

Sapphire sponsored the Best Bar None Pub Awards golf Club, In Meriden. Black tie dinner took place on Wednesday 15th July at the Marriott Forest of Arden Hotel in Meriden. Hosted by Phil Upton from BBC WM. Attended by representatives from the 15 licensed premises, West Midlands Fire Service, West Midlands Police, Solihull Council and event sponsors Sapphire Management Services, A2B Radio Cars, Brooks Jordan Training Services, Diageo GB, Hammonds LLP and Silverline Landflight Ltd. Coverage of the evening was by Totally Society Magazine.
Guest of Honour was Lance Corporal Matt Croucher, who was awarded the George Cross when he threw himself on an exploding grenade in Afghanistan, as we raised over £2000 for Help for Heroes. All fifteen premises that applied met the minimum standard and achieved accredited status, and the category winners were as follows:

- Best Bar: Slug & Lettuce
- Best Club: The House
- Best Hotel: Holiday Inn
- Best Restaurant: Fat Cat
