Sapphire Management Services has a policy where possible to promote from within the company, we insure that all staff are given the tools to carry out any task for the most demanding job. Course content includes heath and safety training, first aid awareness, fire awareness, staff development, and security training.

All the company staff are given the opportunity to progress through the ranks with courses in:

• Store Detective
• Door Supervises
• CCTV Operators
• Arrest and Restraint
• Vetting and Screening
• BSI 7858 and Close Protection

The Company also offer the opportunity of NVQ training for its entire staff.

01/02/2011 - Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card

This Health and Safety card is required now on all static building site work.

Most contractors and clients now demand proof of competence, before allowing workers onto their sites, which is provided by a CSCS card.

You can apply online at www.cskills.org or call 0844 576 8777.

You will be advised of your nearest test centre when you can take the test.

The Health and Safety awareness test take approx 20 minutes and is multiple choice questions relating to health and safety on sites.

You will need to apply for the GREEN CARD which is available to operatives who carry out basic site skills ie: Security. The card is then valid for 5 years.

The cost is £30 plus the cost of the card and certificate.
